Aware of the aging facilities, stricter safety requirements, changes in the expectations of spectators and producers, as well as the need for an aquatic center with a 50m pool in the region, the three municipalities of Lausanne, Prilly, and Renens tasked the C.I.G.M. with organizing an architectural competition for a new sports center and preparing a cantonal zoning plan.
